RIP ABBEY LINCOLN
Abbey Lincoln, famed jazz singer and actress, died in New York City on Saturday. She was 80.Lincoln recorded more than 20 albums, acted in films, and became a leading voice in the civil rights movement during her six-decade career.She passed away in Manhattan, the New York Times reported.Her first album was called Abbey Lincoln's Affair—A Story of a Girl in Love and became an instant success. Lincoln was one of the first negro women to act in a leading role, alongside Sidney Poitier in the 1968 movie For Love of Ivy. The Chicago-born singer performed regularly with Billie Holiday as her main influence, up until her death. Her last album Abbey Sings Abbey was released in 2007.

WHAT WENT WRONG?
In the 70,s you rarely would see raggedy people amongst us, we were good looking ,the women were beautiful and the men were actually men, what a great time to remember, when we called each other brother,and a women a sista because of the love we had back then for each other. Now we have become macho thugs and sluts that stare at each other with hate,the women will not even speak to you out of fear, we glorify and boast the very issues which keep us on the bottom...
one day coming soon those dummies will pay a heavy price for choosing the way of the devil.
