Driven by the influences of Smooth Jazz and G Funk artist as a child. dranaL is product of an urban and contemporary music scene.
After being introduced to Underground Hip-Hop by a high school friend in 2003 (the year commercial rap began to flourish)
dranaL took on a new approach and began making beats in 2005 to cater to his own taste in music.
